Default "552" on a BB8330--what does this mean?

Please Login to Remove!

My BB8330 Curve was fine this morning, but when I went to check it
(on my lunch break at work) all of a sudden it shows a white screen
with a symbol I've never seen before, beneath which is the number "552".
The symbol I will try to describe here: it looks like a white rectangle, with
a black strip across the top . Inside the rectangle are outlines of a circle,
square, and triangle. The rectangle is inside a larger circle with a diagonal
line across it going upward from left to right. I tried pulling the battery out,
and it starts to reboot, then this same image appears again. Does anyone
know what this means and how to correct it?? I should also add that the
phone has not been dropped nor has it been exposed to water, in case those
questions occur to anyone reading this.

Error 552: Insufficient storage space available during startup

KB18751-Error "Reload Software: 552" is displayed on the BlackBerry smartphone

If it will boot, then you need to delete at least the last 2 or 3 apps, themes, songs, etc. that you installed. You can also try connecting with BBSAK.

If it will not reboot, you will need to wipe the device with Jl_cmdr (see the FAQ) and then reload the OS (see the sticky at the top of the 8300 section for the latest 8330 OS and the instructions.

I hope you have your data backed up, otherwise, it is gone.
