Default "More" and "More All" Assistance

Please Login to Remove!

Whenever I receive long emails there is a line at the end indicating there is more the the size of the file. If I click MORE or MORE ALL I see a small arrow in the top right screen flashing. I assumed the Blackberry (7520) was going to retreive the rest of the message. However, nothing ever happens and I never receive the balance of the message. Can anyone provide assistance?

Thanks
Steven

Are you on a BES or using the WebClient / Redirector?

When a large email message is delivered to a BlackBerry, only the first 2 kb are delivered. It is possible to request more of a message, up to a maximum of 32 kb. To do so the Transport.more method is used. The Transport.more method accepts a Boolean parameter that instructs it to either retrieve the next 2 kb of the message (false), or retrieve all of the message (true) up to a maximum of 32 kb.

The BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) - Email does not support the retrieval of the rest of a message, but only incremental retrieval in 2 kb chunks. Therefore if requesting more of an email message from a BIS email account you must pass false to the Transport.more command (instructing it to only retrieve the next 2 kb) or the command will fail.

Try re-loading your handheld software on the device if that fails,
Contact your carrier so they can escalate you and your issue to RIM..
