question; how is it 'unlocked' when the 3.1.3. Firmware is carrier specific and locks out any phones that had the prior 3.1.2. ??

Now, 3.1.2., being the one that works with any carrier and currently has an unlock/jailbreak.

I will answer this as best as I can as i am no iPhone expert but the phone was unlocked with sn0wbreeze and was already running 3.1.3 when I got it and I used a sn0wbreeze tutorial to unlock and jailbreak it.

If that's something that's is not possible then I am confused because it is running 3.1.3 on T-Mobile no problem.

My mistake. This is the 2G, so it has an older 'base band' therefore upgrading it to 3.1.3 FW won't remove the unlock. If you were to upgrade the base band that would 're-lock' the phone to AT&T [or whatever carrier] not letting you use it on Tmobile.

In other words, its good to go.

It was just a weekend, and some places don't deliver Sat-Sun, could that be why it's taking longer? Do you have a trackin number so you can see where the shipment is sitting at this point?
