It may take time for mass recognition, only you forget that the governments of many countries in every possible way block the spread and use of cryptocurrency. If the cryptocurrency becomes widespread, the government will lose control over financial flows, since the cryptocurrency is not controlled. Besides, the loss of control, this threatens the loss of power. Nobody, at least for the next few years, will allow this.
