I am unable to download themes and tunes. BB says need 3.7 or higher. The unit shows it is on 4.1. Does anyone have a clue?

after doing about 3 hours of surfing i think i figured out what Cingular could not over the past 3 days.
What i have found out that is you are trying to download the themes from "Options, Themes, Pust track Wheel, Download Themes" it's going to the Mobile.Blackbery.com website which a person just using the Blackberry Internet Service can't use. It looks like only people with Blackberry Enterprise Server can get to this site.
If any one can please confirm this and tell me how other people have this service and don't connect to a BES server?
I think this si the reason for the error we are getting. I'm going to call Cingular tomorrow and have another long talk with them, not like the other 6 hour calls were not enough.

I cannot download themes using the "download themes" option. You are however able to download ringtones using the internet.

Nextel 7520 here, not on a BES and I can download the theme through the Options method.

I found out that I don't have the Internet Browser for Blackberry and I only have the Cingular Browers and that might be my problem. I'm going to call them later today and see if that fixes the problem

I just called Cingular and had them set me up with the Internet Browser and then I changed my default browser to use the BlackBerry Internet Browser and not Cingular's. Then I went to the Profiles, Show Tunes, Download tunes and i nolonger receive the error massage. Also while I was on the phone I had them remove the pay-per-use internet option like other people have stated.

I hope this helps everyone out because it has taken me 6 hours on the phone and 2 hour in their store to find out how to fix the problem from this forum and now I can tell them how to fix the problem when the call back tech calls me later.
