I had issues with my first 9700... the "G" and "K" keys were non responsive and when they worked they typed multiple characters. I got my replacement, a brand new unit, and now my keypad is not flush with the LCD... all keys work great... looks like im sending it back for another replacement

o right well this is my 2nd 9700 and if im keeping it for 24 moths i want to be ideal for me

how many times can you exchange it? i know it has to be done within 24 days but does it effect anything?

i.e. does it cost? go down on credit history?

I wonder what subscribers can do to cause the cost of cellular service to inflate? Hm... I feel like the answer to my question is just on the tip of my tongue, but I can't quite spit it out. You know... like the answer is somewhere on this site. Odd, isn't it? I'm sensing that the answer might even be in this very thread.

But I could be wrong.

if your paying £35 a month for 24 months

and a phone that cost around £400 PAYG

i think you should be more than happy to have a perfect phone and keep searching for it!

Two things:

-before you buy it, look at the box/phone and make sure it's one that is built in Canada. The ones built in Mexico are junk (shocker).

-More Prozac

Funny! I didn't know you could exchange your phone for a new one for minor issues! I've had my 9700 for less than a month, and the touch pad is wiggly, and it even makes sounds like it's scratching against something when I try to scroll down! I thought it was just me... but guess poor touch pad is a pretty common problem. And the trackball sucked too!

Maybe it's just my poorly built device, but I was playing around with the new Curve (the one with the trackpad) and it seems better built than the 9700, which is upsetting since the 9700 costs more! If only the Curve had 3g...

My thoughts too. Let it go brother. Embrace the imperfections.
