Where did you see that it had been released?

According to Sprint, it will be released tomorrow. An announcement has already been made and i also just chatted with a sprint representative who confirmed it.

Sprint confirmed $99.00 unlimited plan starts tomorrow - SlickDeals.net Forums

Silly me, I thought you already had a link to reference. Since I do know how to search, here's what I found:

Sprint Unveils $99 'Unlimited Everything' Plan - Soundly beats Verizon's price point... - dslreports.com

In a nutshell this plan includes unlimited national calling, as well as unlimited SMS/MMS, data, text, e-mail, Web-surfing, and Sprint music & TV services.

The article also states "real unlimited EVDO data access, BES, DUN and tethering is going to cost you extra. The new tier is available tomorrow to new and existing customers, who, thanks to the Minnesota Attorney General, won't have to extend their contracts another one or two years to sign up for it."

Me too. And from the sounds of it, it will not be for BES users, which kinda stinks since we have a pretty large Sprint/Nextel account where I work.

I know it says it includes data, email, etc. But does it include the Blackberry Data Plan. I just find this a gray area right now.

I agree. If I'm interpreting the article correctly, it includes BIS BB data, but not BES BB data.

I should find out more tomorrow.

Sounds like one hell of a going out of business sale to me.

Yes, it includes the data plan, but only if you get the true 'unlimited' plan for $99. They offer lesser unlimited plans (450 and 900) but with those come an additional $20 for the bb data plan. Like before, this does not apply to those who require BES servers.

I thoguht the 450 and 900 plans included the unlimited data service, its just you don't get the unlimited voice. Isn't that right?

Technically it should. But, while activating my BB 8830 yesterday (during the BIG Sprint/Nextel system crash mind you), I was told that the BB required the additional $20 for service (as opposed to the normal $30-$49). I will clarify again with cust. service later today but so far 3 out of 3 attempts proved my experience to be the policy. We will see what I come up with later this evening. Either way, I like the idea that no matter how much data/voice I use, the bill is capped, and I am a heavy user.
