My phone just reset to factory settings all by itself. I come back to my desk, all my contacts are gone. This is messed up. I am on T-mobile and i have the Bold9700.

yes, it is currently on the BES. That is what i was thinking happened also.

If it's on BES, there could be any number of valid reasons for the wipe.
You should speak to your BES admin and ask if this was an intentional wipe or possible the result of some IT Policy setting.

One of my favourite BES IT Policies:

"Secure Wipe If Low Battery"


I've been asking for another to be added:

"Secure Wipe If Dropped In Toilet"

but I'm yet to see it in any release notes!!

My 9700 (8 days old) just reset itself and now on the loading screen the bar is stuck half way... Gotta get a new phone now
