Default Best OS for Rogers BOLD

Please Login to Remove!

I just got a new BOLD through Rogers and I know this has been mentioned on a ton of threads so it is hard to follow, so I apologize but I have to ask this question again. Which is currently the best OS to load onto my Bold?

Thank you.

Thanks for the replies. I know the most recent one is always listed on the sticky, but I was looking for the most stable. I had thought the one that comes installed on the Roger's device .162 was, but maybe not now according to the above posts. What am I gonna see different in the .216 compared to the .162?

I have been using .167 from ATT on my Rogers Bold for the past few months without any issues. There seem too many issues with other versions IMO.

I used .167 briefly on by Rogers Bold, but found it took up too much memory as compared to others I have used. It seemed to use a lot more than .162.
I have used .216 for about 2 weeks and have no issues. I used .190 for about a month previously without issues also. My feeling, without having done a scientific study, is that .190 seemed to pull in 3g just a little bit better than .216, but I cannot be sure.
Some sware that .219 (beta) is the best ever, but I have not tried it.
I guess you cannot go wrong going with the latest official OS release, .216.

The main difference I have seen with .216 and .190 as compared to .162, is that .190 and.216 are better in pulling in the 3g signals. If the Bold has a clear path to a 3g tower, even if it is miles away, I get full signal strength. I keep mine on 3g only.
