Why didn't you use the same BlackBerry ID on your new Q10?

I was with Sprint, then ported to Verizon and bought the Q10. I typed in my old BlackBerry ID and everything was there. Easy peasey.

I'm LOVING my Q10! There is quite a learning curve, but since I'm coming from an iPhone and not a previous BlackBerry I think it's easier for me.

I never used a lot of apps. What I do miss is my Starbucks app (found a workaround) and my Chase Mobile Banking app. Otherwise I've found either the same apps or equivalent replacements.

I sideloaded the latest Chase mobile app. since the old one quit working on 7-13. You can download it here - just search "Chase", and v 2.97 will be the first one listed. It's already a .bar files, so simply load away & enjoy.

What specifically did you want to know? Did you mean this post:

Picked up my Q10 today and ported from Sprint to Verizon. Huzzah!

Learned my first lesson too. I was trying to connect my Q10 to my iMac via BlackBerry Link and it simply would not connect. I was about to restore the Q10 to factory settings and start again (not too painful after only a few hours with it) and decided to try one last thing. I didn't even know if it was in there anymore, but I went into Settings (via the downward swipe from the top bezel - fekking brilliant!) > Storage and Access and found the default setting for USB Connection was "Connect to Windows." I changed it to "Connect to Mac" and it connected immediately. Booyah!!
