I currently have to manually create a spreadsheet of all 400+ of my users PINs and other user info to be entered into an outlook contact list so it can be exported to everyone’s BB so that we all have current PIN numbers in case of a natural disaster. I have to do this every month. The process takes quite a bit of time. We are in the process of writing a SQL report to do most of the work. But there is still the issue of making sure the end user actually updates their device. The Deputy Director wants to take all of the guess work out of it, and send the updates out automatically as soon as the list is updated; which brings me to my question:
Is there a way for me to push this contact list of pins and phone numbers to my BES clients? Zen is a tool at my disposal if that will make a difference.
If you want it that bad you could try and create an MDS App and push it out from the BES listing the contact name and the pin number.
You can always export the "All Users" pane from the BES Manager and just take out keep the User and Pin column to makes the User/pin collection easier.
Let me know if that helps any.

Just think about how far BlackBerries have come from then till now... And what else is coming.
Blackberry released a sample "emergency contact list" code a couple years ago that does just this and is pretty easy to setup. It will even show up as a handy icon on the device.
