Been running this on two 9700's for about a week now. Other than an issue where my "all day" calendar entries were converted to 12 AM Day 1 - 12 AM Day 2 and the calendar sync option getting disabled in Google Sync (both very simple to fix), it's very solid. Slacker Radio doesn't crash anymore, either.

I installed this a few days ago but had to uninstall because of a slight problem with one of my apps. But the problem was something that wasn't an issue with the an earlier OS release and a deal breaker for me in my business. So I reverted back to the earlier release and everything is working fine again. This definitely falls into the category of if it wasn't broke I shouldn't have updated to start with.

I guess I just felt like updating because it had been a while and with all the hype with the leaked OS 6, I was in an update mood.

I had a few wonky calendar dates as well. Google Sync syncing was disabled for me as well. But I agree. This is a very solid update. Very happy I upgraded. :D

I have this problem upgraging my 9700 OS. Everytime I try to upgrade from Loader, it only shows for all list of application instead of the OS update option it self. If I try to upgrade from Destop Manager, it doesnt detect the OS files which I have installed on my PC.

I have follow everystep, like installing the OS files and deleted Vendor.xml and etc, but non seems working. I even try to use 2 different version, the latest one and one version earlier and nothing seems to be work.

Does anyone can help me please?

I would do this: In Add/Remove Programs, delete all Blackberry device (OS) software on your computer including the latest one. Re-install the latest version, delete the Vendor.xml file, and then run Loader.

Install it again. Be sure to right click the file and select "Run As Administrator". Then go to c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader

It doesn't matter. The only difference is what languages are included.

Just pick one and follow the instructions as posted.
