[Out2Late]

Some song names are not showing up under their appropriate artist however they do under "all songs".

Example:
Artist: Depeche Mode
Song: Precious

When using the Media part of the Bold, the song "Precious" will appear if i find it using "All Songs" however it does not appear under "Artists" then Depeche Mode.

Any ideas???

I had this problem. If you're using a MicroSD card, trying removing it and re-inserting... it will force the media player to rescan. If you're using internal memory, try resync'ing I guess. For me, I had to force a rescan twice before I stopped noticing problems.

I'll try that for my 8330. It happens to me as well from time to time when selecting by artist, genre, or some other sorting method. It would be nice if the song indexes were brought up to date automatically but if you have 1000+ songs on your 8GB card, that may take a while each time.

I tried re-scanning a few times... still the same problem. I even formatted the card and re-synced... still no change :(

Have you made sure the id3 tags on each file are correct using software like mp3tag?

I had the same problem, too. Upgrade your OS - shoudl do the trick.

Same thing sort of. Some songs will not show up if I go to Artist > Album. But they do show up if i go straight to Album.

I double-checked all of my tags (I know they're all present/accurate). This issue didn't resolve itself until I upgraded to .217.
