i love this new OS, but is anyone else having problems with it like i am?

here is a couple problems that i've noticed with the new os..
1. when i text people, what i do is: on the main screen i start typing their name (ex. brian) then his number comes up, i select blackberry menu and then click "SMS Brian". Now in the old OS, when i did this it went directly to the SMS screen, but now on this OS, it sometimes doesn't go to the SMS composing screen and goes to my email inbox screen.. I try it again and second time, it takes me to the sms screen.

2. in the SMS main screen, the clock is cut off (only when the time is 4 digits ex 11:33 pm) the PM or AM sign is partially cut off. this isnt a problem, but just kinda bothers me.

can anyone please help?
