Default Orange .310 os vs. Bharti

Please Login to Remove!

Is there anyone using Orange v4.1.0.310 that has used the Bharti version? If so, which do you prefer and what are the differences? Is .310 the newest version of the 8700 os?

I used the bharti for a short while and when the orange came out I switched to it just to have the bigger number. I have not seen any differences in how I use the phone (I also did not search through the release notes to find any differences). They both seem to work very well, again I switched purely for the bigger number (that is kind of a joke looking back on it). As far as I have seen from the different discussions theis is the largest number, so I am assuming the latest release. Although if you look at the app version, they are both .286, so there may be no difference at all.

Actually the app. version on Bharti is .284 so there may be a slight difference. Who out there knows? Anyone?

Alright, I'll answer my own question. I upgraded to the Orange os and so far I can't tell any difference. Of course it has only been about 30 minutes. I'll know more tomorrow after a full day of use. One little thing that I have noticed is that now when I pull up the app. menu using the zen theme, some applications have little red brackets around them when they are the app that is highlighted. It is only some of the apps and I think it might be the apps that you can move but not hide like keyboard lock. No big deal, kinda weird. Anyone else notice that?

I notice that on a new load of it - reboot the BB and it should show properly sized brackets for all of the apps
