Hello,

I have a bb 8130 and am using the native email client to send and receive email.

prior to my ownwership of my bb I set up the gmail web client to send and receive my gmail account and my work account. I have it set so that when an email comes into my work account and I reply it replies using the work address (yes I know somewhere in the header it says sent by gmail, but it still allows me to send and receive from work) and when email (personal) comes into my gmail account I am able to send and receive with those messages coming from gmail.

However, on the bb when I set up my gmail no matter which account it was pushed through to every time I responded it would appear to come from gmail. So I set up a second account with my work email so I could reply with both addresses. the thing is on the bb client I am receiving the copy of work email that goes to the work account and then also receiving the email to the work account that is being pushed through gmail. so I am receiving two copies of all work related email. Very redundant and annoying.

I have tried to set up a filter in gmail that says that when email is sent to xxx.workacount do not push it through to the bb but this has not worked and I believe it is because that the bb recognizes that despite there is my work email the email is really originating from gmail.

I have checked out the gmail bb app and I am not sure this is what I want to use. I have been enjoying the bb native email and might want to keep using it, but I do need to figure out a away to prevent the redundancies and the ability to reply to based on the email address that the sender set the correspondence to.

is this possible please dont flame the newbie I am striving for organization and as a web client it is nice to use gmail to rule all my email accounts.
