Default Question for you folks who have successfully installed OS 4.5

Please Login to Remove!

You folks that have installed 4.5 on your Verizon 8830's, Did you wipe the handheld before installing or did you just install over the existing?

There is not way to install over - the upgrade process does the following:

- backs up the BB
- erase the operating system, applications and data
- installs the operating system and new applications
- restarts the device
- restores data backed up in the first phase

So, it doesn't really install over the existing one, it erase everything and loads the new applications.

OK I just loaded version 101 of 4.5. Keeping my fingers crossed. The only thing that seems slow is the media player. Did this OS come with Docs To Go?
