One other thing I noticed is I can't seem to do any OTA downloads. I use UberTwitter, but RIM's Twitter app is needed for the OS6 Social Feeds. I tried to download Twitter for BB from BlackBerry.com/twitter and also from mobile.blackberry.com and neither would work.
Tried loading BBM the same way (from BlackBerry.com/messenger) to see if it was just Twitter and had the same issue.

Ah, this is such a strange OS. I'm not used to this at all! Is anyone having trouble using shortcuts in the browser? R for refresh, T for top, P for page properties? For some reason when I enable the shortcuts the only one that works is the "T" for top of page.
Also, is there anyway to disable the zoom feature? It seems when I go to my messages and then click on a message it "zooms" into that message. And I'm also not liking the scrolling in messages either.
Maybe I should downgrade back to OS 5 until an official release.

Go to home screen - menu - options and click on universal search and choose shortcuts.
Anyone try Pandora or Slacker?

UPDATE - The radio in this build is as shaky as .732. I don't think it is worse, but it sure isn't better.
I think that overall, this is a build that is close to being release ready.

I think you were talking to me, but that disables the calling from home screen, which is something I like. It's one less step.

The browser is shaky for me as well. We are experiencing the same types of things

VASTLY improved reboot time.
Light won't illuminate on video camera, works fine as flash on camera.
It only seems to have loaded about a quarter of the ring tones that I had with 5.0.0.810...the annoying tones I used for the alarm clock, IMs, etc are all missing. Anyone else have this?

I am finding this issue with several OTA such as Uber ironically

I noticed this issue also. A battery pull will fix it, but a faster fix is to go into Manage Connections and simply disable and re-enable your Mobile Network.

Upon a reboot (which was quite fast) the shortcuts for the browser work as they should. I am noticing several applications won't work (Application Center, BB Weather).
No OTA's are working for me, and the BlackBerry Twitter does not update in the background for me, nor does it allow me to spell check.

I've noticed this as well - not only are there less tones, they are all different from what I used before...now I have to get used to all new tones. I have a Tour that I use for work that has OS5 on it....wonder if I can BT the tones from the Tour to the Bold....

Unless there are features missing/not working that you really like, you may want to just stick with OS6. This is exactly how it looks and works on the Torch, so just takes some getting used to.

Well I was just saying until an official is released. No OTA's work for me, some applications aren't working properly. Its still a quite nice upgrade though. It used to take up to 15 minutes for a reboot, but this took 5 minutes at most.
I see it similar to the change that took place in Microsoft Office 2007. It becoming more of a image/picture rather than text. I have a feeling that themes will be unlike anything else with this OS.

Will be interesting to see how it all plays out.
Another thing I've noticed.... I have several icons that I've marked as 'Favorite' so they show up on in the Favorites menu. When I do a reboot, the icons in Favorites are all moved around. The same ones are still there, but they are in a different order. Weird.

It seems the more battery pulls/resets the more things work. I was able to get BB Weather to work. I also noticed while on mobile Facebook at the bottom of the page it says "Download Facebook for your Torch".
And forgive me, but what was the hype about the Webkit Browser?

I noticed I was missing several sounds I was enjoying from OS 5.
I found a pack on another forum, and uploaded to MU.

My guess is that we see some leaks for this one rather quickly. Today, i am looking more closely at network connection and battery which correlate with one another
