Default Blackberry on o2 sim? Unlimited internet?

Please Login to Remove!

I have just purchased an unlocked Blackberry Curve 8320 for my daughter for christmas.
I intend giving her my sim to use in the phone which is from o2 and was used in my iphone. It has unlimited internet bolt on.
I have tried the sim in the phone to make sure it works, so we don't have any problems on Christmas day. It seems to work ok but I am having trouble downloading the Blackberry app world. It gives me the error "a communication failure has occured".
I am able to connect to the o2 active page.
I have set up the wifi connection via my home router.
As I am using an o2 sim from an iphone does this give me any restrictions when using a Blackberry?
Can someone please advise the best way to use this phone with an 02 sim. I.E will the unlimited o2 internet bolton still apply when using this phone? Will I be charged any extra?
Can I download from the Blackberry app world?
Please help.
Ta.

you will be charged extra. I have orange and had unlimited internet but couldnt use the internet etc when my sim free bold 9700 arrives I contacted orange and they said that I needed to have blackberry unlimited data plan and thats why it wouldnt work. With orange it was £5 a month extra so not to bad.
