Just Spoke to T-Mobile (UK) regarding the release date for the BB BOLD.
To my surprise they had some information about it.
Basically at the moment T-Mobile (UK) have rejected the BOLD due to some firmware issues. If RIM are able to resolve these quickly, they say they might be able to release for 8th August.
For me, this is brilliant news as T-Mobile are at least looking at Potential release dates.
Oh! First I have heard of T mobile uk getting the Bold!

Once again we've been testing various drops of software for some time now and it's still very unstable when used on a 3G / HSDPA network - it still suffers from call drops, network drops & device resets particularly when moving between cellsites so is in no fit state to be sold to customers. We don't have any software from RIM that's good enough yet but hope to get some soon and will launch as soon as we consider the firmware good enough. At the moment we hope to launch in September. I've been using a Bold for a while now though and it is a very nice device (when it works!) so you're well advised to wait for it.
Last update was quite some time ago. Has anyone been able to get a launch date fot T-mobile UK?
And does anyone know if they are planning to vandalise the phone and have a special t-mobile colour like they do with most phone (touch diamond was the last one)?
