Sorry to say but for me its a bit to fem. I dont know maybe its the Iridescence of it. I got a chance to play with it at my local tmobile store and thought that it would be great 4 my mom or girlfriend. However i have a guy friend that wants one because it looks different. He wants a demo phone so that he can take it apart and but together a hybrid of the black pearl and white one. to each his own

I actually just got a White one 2 days ago. Its not that bad, and I wanted to be the different one with a white one that everyone elses black one in the house.

At work everyone thats seen its likes it, males and females....

I like the way the white 8100 looks, but I would never get one because to me it looks less like a professional device and more like a toy.

Kind of like "Pearl, the Junior edition".

I guess, like some of the rest of you, I've come to associate white electronics with the iPod line.

Totally a female device! Forget the colour, the entire device is female! I bought my wife one for christmas. (She had my old 7290 before) I will spend time on it every now and again and can't wait to get back on my 8700.
Total chick phone. And the fact that they changed the "cosmetics" of this one doesn't do much to sway me from that opinion.
