Not much reason to buy less than 4Gb any longer. SanDisk 4Gb microSDHC package with SD adapter AND USB reader from an Amazon seller "DoubleSecurities" for $27.89 + $4.99 shipping. That's the source I bought mine from, arrived quickly, great transaction, works perfectly in the 8310.

1.) The current OS for the Blackberry will only recognize 4gb of whatever card you have.

2.) Ever heard of ebay for ordering micro SD cards? I have seen an 8gb for 62 bucks after shipping.

Well alrighty then! I guess that would be termed "anti-convergence" or, "why should I carry only ONE device when I can cart THREE around instead!"

I thought the 8320 had a 4GB SD card limit. Perhaps that is why the 6GB cards are not working right.

Default Why Not 8GB

I've been using a 2GB Kingston since early August '07 without problems.

QUESTIONS: When will 8GB media cards become available? Will they work in my 8300?

Don't laugh, i'm still using a sandisk 512mb.

I've really bothered purchasing a larger one. Actually, quite honestly, i'm waiting to be able to use a bigger card (8gb+) so I can finally move all my MP3s off my computer.

I'd say your "magic numbers" even are a bit out of date. As I posted a few days ago in the thread, I just recently bought a SanDisk 4Gb microSDHC package with SD adapter AND USB reader from an Amazon seller "DoubleSecurities" for $27.89 + $4.99 shipping.
