I received an SMS message in January. I deleted it, but it keeps coming back. Any idea why this is happening and how to stop it?

He's done that already. I have heard of this issue on another board - and have not seen a resolution to it either. I'm sure a full wipe/selective restore would solve the issue, but not sure if it's merited at this point.

The OP did not indicate if it's a new text or an old one . I received a text from a marketing group about once a week until I found out how to stop them.
If it's a repeat it may be either an added app causing this or caused by the carrier. Doing a search I found Iphones and Droid's have the same issue. some found it was an app and other suspect the carrer.

It's an SMS from a known contact. It keeps coming back empty and back-dated January 24th.
