From what I've seen, virtually all the features offered by Opera are present with the BB browser, even the small window view, zoom, shortcut keys etc. Adding another program to my device which offers little benefit seems wasteful.

anyone know how to stop opera from asking to "access a low-level network connection" its so annoying it would be nice if there was a Yes - Don't ask me about this again. button but i've only found you have to hit yes everytime you launch the app.

[QUOTE=scottjb;967306]Regarding speed, you can go into settings and check the connection type. If it's set to http, you can try socket. If socket works it will be faster.

Where on the 8310 are these settings, I've searched and found nothing referring to a socket.

thanks

The setting is in Opera Mini. Menu, Settings, scroll down to Network. If socket is available, it will be in the drop down menu labeled Protocol.
