Default BESX Network setting? Messages remain pending

Please Login to Remove!

Hello guys, this is my fipo from the Netherlands.

I have a question. The situation is;

I've installed BESX 5.0.1.4 on a Win2003 server.
I've added a BB user with an account, added a Bold 9700 via USB to the server. 9700 was found, so it restarted and start syncing of all data.

Everything is ok, mail/contacts etc etc.
But when i want to send out an email with my cable connected it goes through, but when i remove the cable it stay's in a pending state.
(icon of the clock)
Must i configure somewhere that this device must use wireless/3G/GPRS as sending protocol or something?

It looks that i'm missing something here.... So in my console everthing looks ok, i was able to add the device to the correct user/mailbox etc

I've googled but was not able to figure it out yet, so i thought let's ask you guys here!

I'm really looking forward to your ideas!!

Do you mean if I have the possibility to have the Enterprise Configuration settings?

Yes I have those and I can select this, but the device says it's been already activated.
Or am I'm missing something here?!

Go to Options -> advanced options.
Is there an option there for Enterprise Activation?
If it's not there it's a BIS plan. If it's there, it could still be either.

Ask your carrier.

Yes I have the Enterprise Activation option for sure.
But you think that I have to ask my provider if my type of account allows my BB to send/receive mails? Am I right?

Thanks already for the help you guys!!

No, you have to ask your carrier if you have a BES or a BIS plan.

Ok, I've now enable a BES dataplan and I can receive messages etc, but when I want to send a new email
I receive the error message "Message included an invalid address".

So after I solve this, I'm there!

After restarting the services of the BESX everything works. So it was a data plan issue.

Great guys for your help, to put my nose in the right direction.

You don't actually need the BES data p[lan if you don't plan to activate OTA.
