Ok , they suggested version 5 of the blackberry handheld software not DM. I suggest you download the DM if you don’t already have it. When you try to upgrade to V5 , if it’s on your PC it will go a lot faster and you can avoid using the internet to download while upgrading. If you loose the connection or it stalls because of slow internet it may install wrong. when you completely finished you will have a fully restored BB back to factory and the only thing you will need to do is a selective restore. Remember I'm not sure the password options are included in a backup so selective may be better.

I have the BB DM and I've done two restores (backed up)the second removed the password feature. I can't figure out how to get my email addy folders (four) to show on the home page again. I've re-installed BB app world so that I can re-install Twitter, TMZ, Pandora, etc. TiA
