Default Re-branded and worn out?

Please Login to Remove!

Eh? Well ok here goes nothing...

I have seen more anti RIM threads in the last month than I have seen In my 5-plus-years here at the BBF..

I wonder why this is... Hummmmmmm....... Odd........

The re-branded user might say it's because RIM is going down, that the Apple gods have cast a spell on RIM and/or that Cloud is the second coming of JC himself....

I say Tartar Sauce (and so does SpongeBob)....

What's a re-branded user you ask? Any 30-something-year-old who lives in parents basement and spoofs an IP to avoid detection....

It's almost like their past IP ends up in the clouds or something....

I think that there are two major forces at work:

1. More new users of BlackBerrys so:
a. More people are trying to use BlackBerrys that have trouble chewing gum and walking at the same time
b. More truly defective phones out of the box which causes those in catagory "a" to be more confused.
c. In order to compete with other half baked phones (Fred as example) being released there is beta software being pushed as usable. In my opinion the original Storm release fits this catagory.

2. In todays "green economy" some of the previous idiots are being recycled which I understand is Lunks original point. My feeling is more of these idiots fall under catagory "a" above but there are a few with legitimate complaints.

Who knows maybe one day one will post.

I notice a rise in teenagers demanding blackberries just to use the blackberry messenger, and because their friends at school talk on blackberry messenger. Or their parents threaten to cancel unless I give them a blackberry.

Maybe this is where the influx of new users are coming from?
