I have been using BeeJiveIM 2.0.1 for a couple of days now; if you like, feel free to read my review. I will warn you, though: it is not very flattering:

The Corsair Journal Blog Archive BeeJiveIM 2.0.1 for the BlackBerry Storm Review

My opinions are my own. Your mileage may vary.

Wirelessly posted (Lets Go Canes!)

Good read. I have a transferable license that I don't use and your content reinforced my decision. In my world, it seems that most people I encounter I reach through BBM or SMS

Wow. I realize that review is your own opinion, but it seems pretty.....hate filled? Which of course is just my opinion.

I am using BeeJive on my Tour and don't have the problems you've experienced with battery drain. I can leave it on all day and don't notice a difference in battery usage. Of course, the majority of my friends have BlackBerry devices, so I mainly chat with tme using BBM.

As with me, most users I interact with aren't using those other messenger products. When I got what was then Jivetalk, there wasn't twitter or facebook or even as many handheld users out there.

my mileage varies as well...when I first got Jivetalk I couldn't live without it. now that everyone I know communicates by text or BBM, I have yet to use it for more than an hour.

I guess with the number of devices I've transferred the license to I got my money's worth, but I do agree with the idea they're putting more energy into other iterations. oh well. it's just a product that has outrun it's usefulness for some. at least they dropped the price.
