No Service Book problems.
No Provisioning problems.
Software is just fine.
And I've had an 8320 for a while...
Thanks I think..... lol
But whats funny. I made that post and then resent my service books and bam. Everything started working including my IM!!!!! 8-
)
I have resent my service books at least 17 times today, resent my register HRT 20 times, power cycled 30 times in the past 33 hours and if finally paid off
Here are the edited .alx files for themes and BBMaps ( for later AT&T devices)
Additionally, there are .alx's (& .cod's) for all the new IM apps. They were each vendor coded to TMo (vendor id 100) in the .alx files. I removed the vendor ID's for later use on other carrier 8320's when they come out.
*It might be possible to extract the .cod's for the IM apps and load them onto the other Curves, however, I don't have one to try it on.
Now that i found it I can't install it ... because i get Handheld Software (v 4.2.2.171) but the 10mb version so i cannot install it to my laptop...i dont have a Installation Path: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files
I figured its not but I cant just download the right size
just got of the phone with T-MO blackberry support... they tried to download the handheld software in 2 of their computer...thy got 10.2 mb also... the supervisor tried it... they say up to 5 business days to correct this problem

To install this software on any 8320: (If you just purchased an 8320 from TMobile then you likely already have this OS on your device.)
1. Download and install the latest Desktop Manager from here
2. Download and install the OS packaged linked above.
3. Delete the vendor.xml file located in c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader
4. Connect BB, open Desktop Manager and you should be prompted to upgrade.
To add vendor themes here is the link to the edited .alx files for this OS. There are IM alx's included as they were in the same folder and vendor coded to TMobile. When the other carriers come out with the 8320 this may allow them to work on the other carries. (just a guess on my part-John Clark.)
