From same manager who sent me the data sheet: Same pricing as the curve. Rebate however could not be confirmed and apparently was not mentioned in the email the stores got. So, perhaps same price, but maybe no rebate yet?

There is DEFINITELY a $100 rebate on this. I'm looking at the rebate form from the AT&T website and the 8310 is on it. I printed it out so that it doesn't somehow mysteriously disappear.

You're going to need to print the rebate form and check it out yourself. There's a lot of small print. I'm not a lawyer, and I know from my own experience that that it's in the small print that they get you.

Otherwise, why have a rebate at all? Just do an instant rebate UNLESS you can disqualify customers for not crossing every t and dotting every i.

All I know is that I'm getting the rebate because my contract expired and they don't have me locked up. Also, I'm pretty sure you have to sign up for the unlimited data plan too (at ~$30/month).

FWIW, the AT&T rep in my store said they were ONLY getting the red in initially...which is just fine with me.

Did your contact with AT&T said it would be release on midnight or till the morning or would it be up on ATT's site after midnight the 11th???
I guess theres some of us wondering what time it would be up and it might not matter anyways; as long as it will be released that date.
