FYI 4.2.2.180 from T-Mobile we be out tomorrow. Reason for TMO to release update, or by what they say is to fix the UMA lost issue with device switch. Northern California customers should no longer have a call drop on hand-off from UMA to GSM or vise versa. And enterprise activation wont time out with WiFi on.

If the wifi logo is bold then wifi is working. If you were to turn off the mobile network you would see the red bars underneath the mobile signal strength. If the wifi logo is greyed and faded then wifi is not working. Also, when wifi is working you'll see your wifi ssid or name along with the carrier name at the top on the home screen.

I have had this happen multiple times...I will have a Bold Wifi logo..the SSID name show up, but no "Pink" Bars or UMA listed....so I have to turn off all connections then re-connect after 10sec, then usually it will work fine....shame it can't do it on it own...even if the SSID's are saved w/ WEP key.

Anyone DL the .180 from Tmobile???
The .175 update really sped up my Wifi Speeds...but didnt really help the UMA issues of auto connecting all the time even with wi-fi prefered.
Would like to know how the .180 update is.....please advise if you have installed.

went from .175 to .180 still fast, if not faster only been loaded for about an hour. works great though so far.
