Default Cingular Question

Please Login to Remove!

I hope I'm putting this in the right forum.

I'm thinking of purchasing a Cingular blackberry 8700c, and porting my number from tmobile to cingular when im plan is up in 15 days. The coverage with tmobile is about 80% in my area, and cingular is alot better. Verizon is the fastest and best coverage but I'm trying not to spend $50 a month on data.

Here is my question doest the $44.99 blackberry unlimited plan come with unlimited texts or no?

and is there any difference between the 8700g, 8700c, 8703e (obviously other than CDMA vs. GSM | or EDGE vs. EV-DO.

There is actually a $29.99 unlimited blackberry data plan on Cingular for BIS only customers. There is really no difference between the 8700c, 8700g, and the 8703e besides cosmetics as well as what you stated with cdma vs. gsm.

No the unlimited blackberry plans do not include unlimited text messaging. Atleast Cingular's doesn't.

I'm sorry, it doesn't include any texts. I should have mentioned that.

Actually...that is incorrect...

the new datamax plans are 10$ more expensive and they include 1000 text messages. for instance a BESmax is 54.99 and a BISmax is 39.99

The text messages are only included with the max

coreyg510 now you have me really confused on cingular's website there isn't anything that shows max plans. I assume you work for cingular so you would know. The BISmax is 39.99 and it includes unlimited texts?

because they already make a killing off the extra $5/200 msg's or $20/3000 msg's. It's insane, 200 isn't nearly enough, and 3000 is far too many, and i obviously don't need the mediabundle since Internet/Email is unlimited with the plan....

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 8700c: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

So what's the difference if you have just the $29.99 data plan and then add the 1000 text messages for $9.99? Why would they make it a bundle and not any cheaper? The way mine is, it's actually $0.01 cheaper. LOL

i use over 3000 texts almost every month. you'd think they could make an umlimited plan for $15 like tmobile. I guess im just going with verizon for $5 more i do get a discount with them its not much but its something. Although they don't have unlimited text either majority of the people i text have vzw so its free to them. The otheres will just have to email me i guess?
