Unhappy Only one user cannot send from his BB

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,
I have a little problem on a BES.
The blackberry server is running with 19 users and it worked without errors now around 22 months. It started on Friday.
3 users were not able to send emails. Every time, they sent a message, they got the red cross and in the event viewer I get id 20472. Receiving e-mails is no problem and works fine

- No updates were done on exchange or blackberry server.
- No user was transfered to a administrator group.
- I checked out the send as permissions, everything fine (it worked for 22 months )
- I restarted the blackberry server some times, stopped the bb router and started again - no problem.
- I gave the users again "Send As" permissions, like described in KB04707, rebooted exchange and blackberry server, waited as mentioned in another forum for that problem around 2 hours without sending from the blackberry.
- I killed for a try-out one of the users from the bb manager and put him in again
....nothing

Suddenly 2 users were able to send again. I did nothing anymore, because my head was aching ;)

Now there is one remaining user in the active directory, who is not an admin and not in an admin group and he still cannot send.

A MAGT Log entry is here:

-------------
The Software is:
- Exchange SP2 on Windows 2003 SP2
- BES 4.1.6.22 on Windows 2003 R2 SP2
- 18 users can receive / send; 1 cannot

EDIT: Before posting, I searched and tried out a bit in the forum.
Some related problems and hints, but none could help me solving the problem

Tell him what he's won Bob....It's a brand new "Send As" issue!!!!

SubmitMessage (0x80070005) failed is proof the BES service account does not have the Send As permission for this specific (maybe more) user.

Compare the security options of a working user to a non-working user. The non-working user probably does not have the BES Admin account with Send As.

Add the permission and then wait 20 minutes to make sure the permission didn't dissappear (aka. revoked). If the premission is still there after 20 minutes turn off the BB for 2 hours and then turn it on and you will be happy.

Cool

I don't know how and why, but I got it running again.
I just added once more the BES Admin, but not the "User Object"...
I took the "Just this object" (I have no clue how it is called in the english version). I try the 2 hours over night.

Tomorrow I know more

Btw. indeed, you are correct, but both users have the same rights and are in the same groups. It is weird and strange
