Default What Is The Best Map Application?

Please Login to Remove!

YELLOW PAGES? YAHOO? GOOGLE? FREE ONES? NOT-FREE?

Which one is the easiest to use?

I am slowly trying them but would value hearing feedback.

I prefer Google Maps. I use TeleNav for voice prompted turn-by-turn directions and Google for searching for phone numbers, addresses, etc.

So far I have been content with Google Maps, but amAze seems popular too.

Good luck & Merry X-Mas!

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

For the Verizon Group who doesn't want to pay extra, it will be BB Maps.

If you're into mapping - you will be hard-pressed not to keep both Google Maps and BB Maps. Google Maps has all the funcationality and coolness of it's big brother but it does not have what BB Maps has including integration to your address book (great for looking up directions) and it shows you how fast you're going.

I dont see BB maps on mine. I just received it and it is locked to ATT. I put Garmin XT on which I really like but I will have to repurchase as my garmin XT s60 doesnt seem to want to load. Any ideas? Thanks

BB Maps is great. I find Amaze's interface very clunky. Another one to try is Nav4All, but that interface is TOO abstract.

I would like to use Telenav/Garmin, but I don't feel like paying especially since I have a real GPS :(

Amaze is fine, but I agree that the interface is clunky - and doesn't really use the standard blackberry interface.

Google maps is great - and useful since amaze has failed to have an address on a map - and google maps fortunately helped bridge that gap.

I'm not really excited about telenav just because I don't feel it's worth it for me to spend $10 per month for the app.

Try Amaze and BB maps first since they're free and then see if it's worth paying for more.

On AT&T > Google Maps (via Poynt), and ATT Navigator (TeleNav).

Google Maps is best for me...BB maps renders maps too slowly from what I have seen on my Bold.

Although it's missing street view (Which I don't use) .. I have found that BB Maps is a great solution. I used to only use Google Maps, and then noticed that BB Maps is just as fantastic!
