Default Is this possible to install Application on Media Card?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,
I just bought a BB8100 last Friday.
It's second-hand but It's very nice.
Now I need to install a dictionary on my BB. It came with approximately 10Mb.
I had 2Gb of media card with 200Mb of free space.
Could someone here tell me how to install this on media card?

I search around here and found a software that allow me to do it but it's costly.

I hope you can help me out.

Thank you very much!

In general, other than a thirf party app that is out there, you cannot install APPs on media card. From what I understand, that program only enables you to store the App on the Card and not use it.

You can store all your pictures, videos and music on the card. You can also put notification tones on the card--the BB will use them regardless of where they are.

The application has to be specifically written to allow data to be stored on the media card. We can't control it.

you cannot install the application to the media card. many apps can make use of the media card once installed, but the main app itself always resides in device memory

Yep, Beiks has a Bible reader that installs on the device, but allows you to put the large Bible data files on the media card. It's a nice app.
