I have an unlocked Bold and using it on ATT. At least once a day I get sms pending when I go to send a message. I have to do a reset once a day and its getting annoying. Anyone know how to fix this problem?
I have same problem. Shows "Pending" and a clock. When I reinsert battery it works a few days than it happens again. I have a problem with Wi-Fi. I cant turn it on. Same thing: reinsert battery (for a few times) and now works, but I'm affraid to turn it off because I'm affraid it will not turn on again. Did you solwed your problems and how?
OS Relooad might not resolve this issue. It seems that your SMS are stuck in your data at your carrier end. Please call you your carrier and request them to clear you sms database.

It sending that is the problem not receiving they are able to send others but one a day ends up getting jammed up. Old OS's have issues sending and communication with towers the latest OS build should resolve this issue.
I have the same problem with my BlackBerry 9000. From where I can get latest OS build ?
And one more... What is the BlackBerry Data Plan ? Thanks for help
For the latest OS look at the stickied thread at the top of this forum.
A Blackberry data plan gives you access to data for apps, browsing, im etc. as well as the ability to use email.

Never had this Pending Icon of death before........ until I upgraded to OS 5.0.231. Now I get it randomly during the day and have to do a battery pull. While it is happening everything else seems to work and I can receive txt messages. Since I only send about 4 or 5 texts a day it isn't too big a deal but still.... Don't you think this is an OS issue and not a carrier issue? ie would a battery pull do the same thing as calling the carrier and having them clear my data ? See the reply from "snowbee"
