Hi everyone,

Please have mercy on me, as I am brand-spanking new to the 7000g.

I have a few quick questions I am hoping you might answer:

1. On the phone number screen, it says "My Number: Unknown"
How do I get it to "know" my number? I can't seem to find the place to enter it so that it shows up here.

2. The green LED light keeps flashing, even though I have no voice mail or email messages. Is it just telling me that I have a good GSM/GPRS signal?

3. I have a car charger, and would like to keep the backlight on when the car charger is plugged in. Most cell phones have a setting for this. Does the 7000g?

2. I believe there is a setting to have this flash when you have a signal. And yes you can turn it off
