you can but there are no service books listed for att or the 8310

you won't need it for a trial

I got it working. This is like aim but better. I may have too buy this! Has anybody bought this? If so, do you like it or had any problems with it?

Pretty much everyone has purchased it. It's, by far, the best IM application out there for the BB.

Just type JiveTalk into the search bar and you'll find lots of threads about it. The search bar is your friend here at BBF.

oh ok. I will definately look that up. So far this application is impressive. Thanks for letting me know about that program John. I'm extremely new to all this smartphone stuff. this is my first one, and the first time I've ever dealt with a blackberry before. Also, thanks JSanders .

Jivetalk is amazing. I let it run 24/7 and it does not mis a beat. Well worth the price. The mai reason why I carry the 8310 over the iphone is jivetalk.

ApolloIM (3rd party app) for the iPhone is very buggy and crashes way too often.

Also try out meebo

I prefer MacRumors, thanks. I'm surprised meebo hasn't made a client for BB yet. Glad I ditched my BlackBerry for an iPhone.
