holy cow, why does the Bold take so long to reboot from battery pull?

For the love of God, I could write a novel before it comes back to life....

It may be the size of the memory is larger than most previous devices.

Wait till you manually delete a program and it says " delete does not take effect till reboot " It takes for ever!!! I got worried for a moment but it came on!

It reboots just as fast or faster than the previous devices I've had. I guess I'm used to it.

On the other hand, an OS load is MUCH faster. I think maybe twice as fast as previous devices.

HUH? are you people on crack? It boots up and restarts in about half the time of any previous devices...half the time at the absolute slowest...

Reboots were really slow when I was on the original OS version (4.6.0.126) but subsequent OS revisions have massively improved boot times.

For me, each blackberry I use seems to take longer to reboot, the Bold doesn't disappoint. I watched mine for over two and a half minutes, got board and distracted so I wasn't able to clock it. Worse part is I'm beta testing software, luckily the reinstalls have slowed down.

Turning the device of and then back on, it is very quick. But a Batt pull takes probably 30 sec for me. The program deletion/reboot I mentioned earlier is probably 2 min or so!
