Yeah let's do that...eventually as we get closer maybe we can get a date. I can't believe that one store confirmed the 21st though...and now they say no. I dunno....I am going crazy over here though!

Hey I called Cingular today and I talked to a Cingular rep and he said they don't know anything about the 8100 and haven't recieved any information about it's release. You think he is lying to me? I told him I was willing to preorder the phone out-right. Despite my lures of "money up front" he didn't budge.

Yeah he's totally lying. They have info, and they know about it. I know they know a time frame of when it's coming out but I think they are telling the truth when they said they just aren't sure which date yet. When I called the 800 they wouldn't tell me anything...when I talk to the reps at the stores they all say the've received training on it, and hear about it in the meetings, and know it will be out in the next few weeks...just can't tell me a date. |

Well BG, it will not be tomm. The 21st will come and go with out the Cingular Pearl. My friend in Cingular says soon, very soon but this person has always shown me the box of phones when they come in the door but there are no phone to show.
As far as a T-Mo exclusive, they have removed that from the site and a little money will go along way to letting Cingular have the Pearl soon, very soon.

can't get any info....

Still nothing...
BBhub is reporting that in NYC some people have seen advertising for the pearl in some Cingular stores....
They aren't open here on the west coast yet, but as soon as they do, I will be calling!
