It does have an icon for SMS and MMS, from Messages go to options -> general options, at the very bottom is a selection for SMS and Email Inboxes...

change this to Separate

Opera Mini 3.1 works with this version, too.

If you don't know how to backup all your apps, check this out:
[code]
http://www.kradest.com/2007/03/how-to-backup-blackberry-ota-and-3rd.html

that is good info, but how do i do this using Windows Vista? i can not find where it saves the backup of the apps?
thank you,
Eric

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8100/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/107)

My videos work just as they did before the upgrade. On the TIM version, the videos would freeze. They've obviously fixed the issue. Good news!

Well, i like to manually control what im typing. I find texting with MultiTap on faster for me plus i use a lot of slang with most my friends.

It is definitely faster. I have not been able to find any new options, upgrade worked without any problems.

I'm not sure whether this is new or not, but on the new BB maps (1.1.34) you can press 4 and 6 to toggle (back and forward, respectively) through the turns for directions. I don't recall this being a feature of the bbmaps (1.1.32) included with the TIM release.

I would like to know if this new version fixes the issue with the voice cutout causing you to pull the battery to fix?

That is my only beef with TIM/Telstra OS and the voice dropouts have been killing me lately.

I must admit the Rogers theme that this version comes with is pretty horrendous.
Is there a way to remove it and save some space?

If you can figure out which module it is then you can use javaloader to get rid of it. I don't think you'll see any useful gain in free space though.

javaloader -u erase modulename

I installed the new version last night and I was one of those having problems with the voice cutout, so we'll see how it goes.

Can someone elaborate on this? What are the new folder icons? Can you move applications into them?

ok this new version is great....it actually lets you scroll through the pictures and stuff with out major lag....even the thumbnail view of the pictures on media card are quick after it loads, I am impressed.

thats just what I have noticed...and the media stuff with view pictures has always been slow for me in all the other versions I have tried...I am glad to be able to scroll through pictures alot quicker now.

A few questions regarding features:

- Has that annoying phone cutting out thing gone away?
- Can you use the sym or * key to switch between SureType and MultiTap?
- What TMobile Zen theme does it have with the new alx? The list version or the icon version?
- Any DST issues?
