A checkmark means delete. Everything will be unchecked by default. A grayed out checkmark means the component does not exist (already deleted or never existed). A grayed out box means the component can't be deleted for whatever reason.

Sample images and sample music are embedded in the same .cod and will be deleted together. I updated the description.

I can see more languages in modue net_rim_bb_camera.cod as availabe in bb language setting (also following CameraShutter.mid what I really hate).
Can I modify blackberry.alx to allow another languages to use?:

<fileset Camera="True" langid="0x00xx">
At this point I'm working on deleting things. I don't know anything about adding language files that aren't already there. You should search or start a new thread if there's nothing out there on the topic.

Double click your OS directory (mine is 8100-v4.2.1.101_P2.3.0.80)
Double click Java

Keep these:
net_rim_theme_100_240x260_b.cod
net_rim_theme_bbdimension_zen_240x260_b.cod

Delete these:
net_rim_theme_102a_icon_240x260_b.cod
net_rim_theme_107_zen_240x260_b.cod
net_rim_theme_114_240x260_b.cod
net_rim_theme_115_240x260_b.cod
net_rim_theme_119_icon_240x260_b.cod
net_rim_theme_120_green_240x260_b.cod
net_rim_theme_120_today_240x260_b.cod
net_rim_theme_125_today_240x260_b.cod
net_rim_theme_125_zen_240x260_b.cod
net_rim_theme_bbdimension_icon_240x260_b.cod
net_rim_theme_bbdimension_today_240x260_b.cod

If you connect your Pearl and run desktop manager, then App Loader, and just click next, it'll delete the "unrecognized modules".

I'm going to update my script so it lets you delete themes per-carrier, but for now, the above should be easy enough.
I ran this and it worked great! thanks!! but then I noticed that the vodaphone theme was gone and I would like to add that back in. Is there a quick/easy way to do this and do you happen to know which one of the today themes it is? thanks

Default Uh-Oh... No RIM Directory - Script Terminates

Blackberry Curve from AT&T - no BES, I connect via BIS. However since all was pre-installed I do not have the RIM directory that many do in Common Files.

How can I do the same on my Curve? And if I can't do it using this script, is there anyway I can delete those items I do not need?

Thanks!

Jim

So I went ahead and moved all of the COD files of the themes I don't use, and now I'm limited to "none" for my theme (it won't let me activate my nice vodaphone today theme).

Anyway, I'm trying to get this back by to reload one of the themes at a time - and it's very time consuming. It's pretty clear that at least one of those themes needs to stay on the device, but does anyone know which one it is?

I will post my findings if nobody gets to it before me.

Found it. It's the BB Dimension Zen theme (net_rim_theme_bbdimension_zen_240x260_b.cod). Too bad, cause that's the largest one.

I did(the above) what Spectral suggested and I have no problems whatsoever I can use any Theme I want it seems that those are the 2 that needs to stay on the BB

Does anyone have the list of vendor theme # 102, 107, 114 to a the vendor names? ie. ATT, Sprint, etc.

[QUOTE=Spectral;610185]The script looks for the OS install directory %CommonProgramFiles%\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files which expands to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files on most systems. Do you have such a directory?

I don't have that directory,

if fact, I don't have the "Shared" directory in my "Research In Motion" folder

Any help?

Thanks
