The Nokia BH-900 arrived today, that is, the one from the eBay seller in Hong Kong [for which I provided a link in my OP].
As predicted it took about 13 calendar days for shipping from HK to San Francisco.
Item arrived new, in the original Nokia box, with manual and charger.
Charged the headset and it works the same as the other Nokia headsets I have.
So all in all a very good deal at around $32, for this $120 headset [in 2006].

By the way, I checked his feedback and saw that some people who paid later than I did got their Nokia's sooner than I. So I e-mailed him yesterday to ask for a status. He got right back to me.
And as is typical of whenever I ask about where something it, the Nokia arrived the next day [don't know why that happens, but whenever I e-mail a seller about shipping, the item arrives that day or the next].

Although it's hard to do, make sure to fully charge the Nokia out of the box.
I tried to use it with the Pearl after about 10 minutes of charging, just to confirm it worked.
It connected [paired] but the volume was real low and then the thing died about three minutes later.
After charging for about two hours, it worked fine.

All he said in response was in effect, when it arrives, it arrives and to be patient. He said he ships all items soon after payment. See below.
A fair response since especially with international shipping he can't determine when something will arrive.
I am the closest in the U.S. to get something from Hong Kong, so if you are anywhere else, say midwest, east coast, I'd add two to three days to the shipping estimate [mine was 12 to 13 days].
Hi, we shipped your item to your Paypal address as soon as we received your payment. It usually needs about 5 to 13 business days to get to you, if there is no delay in the custom or the post office. Please wait with patience. It will get to you soon.
Regards,
Rox

The above is the exact same text I got when the seller confirmed my payment. So, I've been waiting with patience.
It's only been 9 days. I figure it'll show up eventually.

That's what I did. Just forgot about it and figured it would show up in about two to three weeks.
He probably gets lots of inquiries on shipping [since he is in HK], I too would used a form reply.
When I sell stuff on eBay I get questions on "Where is my item" about three days after payment is made. I hate that. I kinda felt bad e-mailing him about the Nokia, but since I saw others had received theirs, I thought what the heck. But in hindsight, I now feel like those impatient buyers I don't like.

More chatty sheet on this Nokia.
I just attempted to pair the Nokia on a friend's Pearl. Would not recognize it on three attempts.
I then extended the boom microphone into "answer" or extended position and the Pearl recognized it instantly.
Go figure, it was either the arm needs to be extended or the proverbial "fourth time is a charm."

have just bought mine from the same gizza, (on eBay)
have then tried to make the payment via PayPal and couldn't do it as PayPal keeps popping up a window saying:
"this seller cannot accepts payments at this moment"
no contact number, email address...nothing.
how do I bloody pay for it?
cheers...

I just ordered one. :D
I've been looking for a good bluetooth headset for a cheap price, and thought I'd give this one a go.
I tried the Jabra headset a couple months ago and wow. It was the biggest waste of money.
I can't even go 2 feet away from my Pearl without it breaking up. -__-

Well the good news is it arrived today(10 days to ship). The bad news is it was a defective unit.
First, it kept failing to charge. Then when I paired it the blue light on the device wouldn't light up. Worst of all, the boom microphone was defective. Lots of static and when I tapped the boom it would fix it for a second then go back to static. I confirmed the issue with my girlfriend's moto razr.
This post shouldn't scare anyone away. I always seem to get defective products. Almost everything I buy I have to return and get another. No joke.
Decided to trash it rather than pay shipping back and forth again. Be aware: submerging it in water will kill it.
Thanks for the heads up anyway, it was worth a shot.
