Default Change of IP address handsets no longer sending/recieving emails

Hi all,

This is my first experience of using BES.

Our company uses around 20 blackberry handsets. We have an exchange server and yesterday moved to a new ISP. This resulted in us having new a IP address and range. I have updated the MX records successfully and exchange is now working fine however the blackberry's are no longer sending or receiving emails.

I am sure its down to our new ip address but where in BES do I have to make the changes to get handsets to send and receive mail again please?

BES has no affect on ISP but you might need to restart it to get a new SRP connection.

What version BES?

Hi thanks for the reply

I don't know what edition I am using afraid how can I find out?, all I know is its called Blackberry administration service and it opens in a web browser. If its a simple as a restart of the service I would appreciate details of how to do that.

go to add remove programs and see what version it is

usually its easier to restart the whole server
