I was hoping that someone would be able to help me with my bb. I got it from a friends who's work used it for emailing purposes only and now the contract is done. It was originally used with T-Mobile and when I use it (with my roger's SIM) it only allows emergency calls only. I've been told that it is not locked because when I look the SIM, Network, Network Subset, Service Provider, and Corporate are all DISABLED.
If anyone has any advice that would be great!!
Its a BB curve 8520 and is says the IT policy is enabled when I type 'BUYR'. Is there a way that I will be able to use it? Will talking with the original carrier help (T-Mobile) or with my carrier (Rogers)?
What shows in the top right hand corner? GSM EDGE or SOS
To remove the IT policy, you will have to get the lastest HH code for the 8520 install that then follow this.
