I am interested in buying a Blackberry Curve. I will be buying it online and am mainly interested in the amount of battery life. I don't care about many of the other features unless there is something wrong that drastically hinders the performance of the phone. I was looking at the 3G series, 8500 series, or the 8900 series.
Any information regarding the battery life and any other hindering features of these phone would be great appreciated.

Which Curve are you looking at? There are several different models beginning with the 8300 series. Battery life depends on use. How you use it might not be like someone else. Read through the various sections for more information.

I am looking at any of models of the blackberry curve.
I will not be using it very much, just for some basic texting and phoning which is why most of the other features don't matter.
The determining factor for which model I get is almost solely dependent on the battery life compared to other Blackberry Curve models

From the BlackBerry website for the Curve3G:

Don't get caught without any juice. With up to 5.5 hours of talk time for the BlackBerry Curve 9300, and 4.5 hours of talk time for the BlackBerry Curve 9330, the removable battery lasts as long as you do.

My opinion, adding to the above, look at the spec's for the models you are considering. Not ony might your mileage vary, it will most probably be less. But the spec's should tell you relatively which is better than which as far as battery life, all things being equal.

My first BB was the curve 8520 and I got great battery life out of it using it mostly for the same reasons as you. I got at least 24 hours no problem. I got about the same from the 9700 as well.

[Can someone please help me!! I am new to this site and find it very confusing. I have an older version of blackberry curve 8320 or something like it and just today, when I text, most of the words I type in add the letter "n" to it and I have no idea how to fix it??
