I recently updated to the 6.0 desktop software. I keep getting the Intellisync error code 0x8004fd2b. Under the old version software, I just went in and deleted the files in the Intellisync folder. But now under the new software, once I delete the files in the intellisync folder and try to sync my BlackBerry, I get the message nothing to Sync. and the software does not let me re-enter the data in the organizer section either. I have a Peral 8110 model.

I suggest uninstalling Desktop Manager 6.0 and installing version 5. Many people are having several different issues with 6.

But, that is just my opinion.

I get the same message. I am running Windows Vista. I have to revert back to my desktop which is running XP and version 5 of the DM. It's frustrating as I use my laptop all the time.

I've tried searching on the internet for solutions and none of them work. I'm not about to fool around with the registry right now either.

My service provider help desk says it's because I have Palm installed on my computer so I removed that and still the same problem. Apparently Intellisync is a palm product but I don't think so.
