Default Version CDO.DLL and MAPI32. DLL for Service Pack 2 Exchange Server

Please Login to Remove!

Hello to all,

I have installed a server BES version 4.0.6.12 based on Exchange Server 2003 SP2. That version is advisable of CDO.DLL and MAPI32. DLL to guarantee a correct functioning.

Thank you.

Not sure if you are asking a question or not. To insure calendar sync you need to make sure the CDO.DLL on the Exchange server matches the CDO.DLL on the BES Server. If you apply an Exchange service pack to the Exchange server apply it to the BES. On our BES I unregistered the CDO.DLL in the windows\system32 directory and registered the one in the Exchrvr\bin directory, that way when I patch the BES the CDO.DLL should match.

+1 to Alan. "Should" is the operative word though. Just double check that the versions match after any exch/bes updates.

Question Do have cdo.dll

I don't seem to have any version of cdo.dll in windows/system32 directory. I am assuming this is the exchange directory you are refering to. I have it in the BES bin directory. Do I copy the cdo.dll from the bin directory and paste it in the system32 directory and reboot the server?
