So, I have the blackberry storm 9500 for a while now...
this morning the screen was black, but the keys and underneath the screen have light, the alarm went off, was even able to make a call...
tried to connect the phone with the computer to save pictures and videos, and it says
"media services are not available
you need to turn on mass storage mode from the connected blackberry device to use this feature.
this may require you to reconect your device."

Ps: i already did a batery pull,for 5s;5min;one hour, when i turn it on again, came back to the black screen
and i've never had a problem with open the pic and vid on the desktop manager before

the main issue to me is , is there anyway that i can save my pic and videos? i don't have an external memory card

if it goes to be fixed, propably i'll lose it all, right?

my mobile software is 4.7.0.181

BB desktop software advises me to do an update on device software.
do you think this would help?
wouldn't it delete pic and videos when its updated?

when i do a phone backup, that doesn't back up photos or videos, does'it?

and the desktop software i have is;
Desktop Software v6.0 B42

should i try to substitue that version for another one? which one do you think its best?
and is it me or mass storage only needs to be turned on when you have an external memory card?

ok, i'm using now the BB desktop manager 4.7 that came with the cd-rom with my bb storm
tried to open media manager came across with this message:
"microsoft visual C++ runtime library
runtime error!
Program:C:\Program Files\Roxio\Media Manager9\MediaManager9.exe
Ths application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an umusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information."
any idea why?
support team? who are they?how do i do it?

well, i've click "ok" on the message
"MediaManager9 Module has stoped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program
and notify you if a solution is available"

and it closed!!!

not sure if it is important to say, but it looks like everything else works well (on the phone)... after a batery pull up the red light stays on for 5/10 seconds. after the screen is black with light underneth
but i pressed the calling key, tried to figure out where the numbers are, diel up my other phone number... (making difernt noises on each number helped) ... and i made a call!!!

solution! used another laptop to connect my bbstorm and recovered everything!
