It's not an iPod. It's a BlackBerry. It uses the standard mp3 ID3v1 ID3V2 & APEv2 TAG information that is part of every mp3 file. It will display any cover art that is embedded into that tag. I suggest Mp3tag - the universal Tag Editor (ID3v1, ID3v2, APEv2) as a great tool to put that cover art into your mp3s.
You should also be able to add the art to a file in iTunes, and I believe that embeds it. Select the file, then get info, then click the artwork tab, and add the cover image there.

ah - it's imbeded in the mp3 files. Thanks for the reference to the app. Works like a champ...
If you place all your music in separate folders you can rename the album cover to folder.jpg and it will work. It a quick easy fix I do it all the time with my torrents.
